Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 : Resizing Objects

3/9/2015 10:50:48 PM
When you insert an object, it can not go exactly because you would like beside other objects or texts of waiting on your slide. In this case, you can easily give to the coast the object using the handles giving to the coast which appear when you click on the object. The displacement of the making handles the corner gives to the coast the object all while maintaining its proportions of original. The displacement of the handles on the sides of the object gives it to the coast but does not maintain the proportions original. This can make it seem twisted, like an image in a mirror of funhouse.

Resize Objects

  1. Click the object you want to resize.

  2. Click a handle, and then drag inward to shrink the object or drag outward to enlarge it.

  3. To resize the object to a specific measurement, click the Format tab.

  4. In the Size group, use the arrows for the Shape Height and Shape Width settings to specify a measurement.

Sometimes rotating an object helps you fit it on a slide among other objects.

Tip

If a picture is too large for your slide, consider cropping it by using the Crop tool on the Format tab. This allows you to trim out unneeded portions of the picture, thereby saving space, without reducing the picture size, which might make it hard to see.
